FAQs

Q: I can’t seem to register online, how can I register?
A: You can download the registration form from the Forms page and fax it to 525-5626. If that doesn’t work, you can call our hotline at 302-1000 and look for Vienna Austria or Ryan Ong.

Q: How do we get there?
A: Please view the map below

Once in De La Salle University there will be ushers from LSCS and TechnoKids to guide you to the contest venue.

Q: Who can come with us?
A: Administrators, Coordinators, and Computer Teachers are welcome to watch and support the participants. Just make sure to let us know who are coming by filling up the Online Registration Form. Only names found in the roster list will be allowed to enter the University. A roster list is necessary to ensure the safety of every participant and guest.

Q: What should we wear?
A: The participants are requested to wear their school uniforms with their IDs to promote each school’s individuality. Teachers along with Administrators and guests may come in smart casual attire. Strictly no slippers or revealing clothes.

Q: What should we bring?
A: Bring an official school ID and don’t forget to bring a healthy competitive attitude and a spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie. All materials needed for the competition will be provided by the event organizers.

Q: What items are restricted in the venue?
A: Please avoid bringing any sharp objects, expensive equipment such as laptops, tablets, smartphones, or cameras to the venue. Leave it to us to capture your best moments for posterity.

Q: Will meals be provided?
A: Snacks and drinks will be provided during the break time. Please stay in the eating area while having your snacks, and please avoid bringing your meals in the Auditorium.

Q: Can we go around the school campus during the break?
A: DLSU is a big campus and participants may get lost during this time. It would be best to stay close to the event venue since late participants are automatically disqualified for the contest.

Q: What will happen if we were not able to register on time?
A: As much as we’d like to give leeway for this, we want to respect the efforts of everyone who registered on-time. So we hope you can register early and don’t forget to do it before December 20, 2011!

Q: Who can we contact for our concerns not found in the FAQs?
A: Hopefully you can find everything you need to know in this website. But if you still find yourself with some concerns, you can look for Vienna Austria or Ryan Ong at the TechnoKids hotline, 302-1000.
